Thorne Calcium (formerly Dicalcium Malate)

Thorne Calcium, formerly Dicalcium Malate, contains a concentrated form of calcium that is optimally absorbed by the body. DiCalcium Malate is a compound contains one molecule of malic acid bound to two molecules of calcium, resulting in a higher calcium percent than calcium citrate. This form of a concentrated calciums supplement is recommended for those most at risk of calcium deficiency. Those at risk of calcium inadequacy include peri and postmenopausal women, vegans, those with vitamin D deficiency and those who take certain medications.
