Thorne 5-MTHF 1mg

Thorne 5-MTHF 1mg was formulated for individuals whose genetic makeup makes it difficult for them to convert folic acid into 5-MTHF (L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate), the active form of folic acid. The Centers for Disease Control recommends folic acid supplementation for all women of childbearing age. Folic acid intake is important during early pregnancy when a woman many not beware she is pregnant. 5-MTHF helps the production of serotonin, melatonin, dopamine, epinephrine, and norepinephrine. One bottle of Thorne 5-MTHF 1mg contains 60 capsules. Recommended dose is 1 capsule 3 times a day.
