How to order supplies to be submitted to your insurance provider

From the My Account navigation, click on the Start Refill Order link located on the left navigation on desktop or in mobile

Once on the page you will see a button "View Eligible Refills"  above your order history

  • After clicking this button you will be required to answer a series of questions.  Depending your responses you maybe required to call for assistance with processing your order.
  • Once all questions have been answered a screen will appear with the items the suggested items for you to add to cart to be submited to your insurance provider.  
  • Select the items you need, depending on the product category you may be required to answer an additional question before the product can be added to your cart. NOTE: Online items added to your cart through this method will be submitted to insurance.  Only items that you have ordered 2 times in the past wil a current prescription will appear in box.
  • Once the items are added your cart, you may check out or shop the site for additional items for cash purchase.  NOTE: Your shopping cart will indicate what products are being submitted to your insurance provider and what products require payment to complete the order.  If you add the item to your cart using any method other than the checkboxs in the suggested refill pop up, the item will not be submited to insurance.

Troubleshooting Order Creation

If you are unable to see specific products in your suggested refill list it would be for the following reasons

  • Your perscription has recently been updated or is about to expire
  • The product is not availabe via the provider submitted refill process at this time.  CPAP, Ostomy, Urology, and Compression are the categories currently offered
  • Your insurance provider requires a pre-authorizaton for refilling supplies
  • The item you previously used is on backorder or discontinued
  • Your account with Mayo Clinic Store is past due
