The Hollister New Image Flat CeraPlus Skin Barrier uses Remois technology to protect damaged or eroded skin. The barrier can be used with any of Hollister's New Image products, including closed, drainable, high-output, and urostomy pouches. Its soft convex flexible design helps to conform to uneven skin surfaces and relieves pressure around the stoma. The barrier defends the peristomal skin while maintaining its strong adhesive properties, and its porous tape border keeps it securely in place while allowing the skin to breathe. The CeraPlus barrier is infused with ceramide, a component of human skin that works to decrease transepidermal water loss. It has a 2 1/4" flange, and its opening can be cut to fit stomas up to 1 1/2".
