The SUR-FIT Natura Skin Barrier from ConvaTec uses an audible click to ensure that the barrier and pouch are securely fastened together. The barrier uses Durahesive technology for a highly durable defense against primarily liquid output, along with a gentle adhesive that keeps the item in place. The barrier swells up a bit to protect the stoma, an effect called "turtlenecking", and its convex shape effectively treats retracted, recessed, or flush stomas. The moldable skin barrier has a 2 3/4" flange and its opening can be molded to fit stomas between 1 3/4" and 2 1/8".
